I’m beginning to wonder if I’ll focus my efforts on anything other than smoothies in the mornings, especially during the weekdays. Considering I have an office job I don’t have a lot of time to whip up fancy breakfasts that require lots of prep and cook time. I think smoothies are my thing. (Ask me this again in a few months when it’s below 20 degrees outside and a blizzard whiteout and my answer my change). For now, smoothies are my thing. Really, you get such good nutrients, vitamins and fibre from smoothies it’s not a poor choice for breakfast in the mornings, especially if your an on the go type of person like myself.
To be honest I’ve never really loved chocolate, for some reason it was always the pure sugar candies that did it for me. Since discovering cacao and transitioning out refined sugars I’ve fallen in love. Cacao is delicious and so rich in nutrients. In comparison to it’s sister food cocoa, cacao offers a significantly higher amount of vitamins and nutrients. When used in smoothies your boosting your intake of antioxidants, magnesium and iron. How amazing is it that these little superfoods can pack such goodness in them for us!
