When I first made this smoothie I let my husband try it.. his reaction and exact words were ‘there’s no way this is healthy!’ and then he continued to drink the entire thing! I knew I had a good recipe on my hands when my husband finished the entire thing before I got any. Of course I’ve made it again and again to ensure it really was that good, and.. it is. I’m super excited to share this with you guys. I feel like it’s a great transition recipe (and dessert recipe) for those who don’t quite want to venture into the green smoothie world. This cinnabon smoothie is by far the healthiest treat you can enjoy! Boosted with hemp hearts and cashew butter for extra omegas and protein, creamy almond milk for added calcium, 2 & 1/2 bananas for a huge boost of potassium and maca for energy. This really is a power smoothie annnd it tastes fantastic too!
2 & 1/2 Frozen Bananas
1 & 1/2 Cups Almond Milk
1 Tbsp Maca
3 Tbsp Hemp Hearts
1 Heaped Tbsp Cashew Butter
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Giddy Yoyo Vanilla Bean Powder (or 1 Tsp Vanilla)
Add everything to a high-speed blender and mix until nice a smooth! Pour into your favourite cup and enjoy.
