AB + J Smoothie


If you had a childhood like me then you most definitely enjoyed a lot of PB&J sandwiches for lunch and as a snack, heck, even as dinner! I just loved those simple sandwiches. Now-a-days we have to be careful with peanut butter – it’s banned from schools, its a no-no to bring to work and most companies are now more cautious than ever when manufacturing foods/snacks by processing them in a nut-free facility. I for one have really cut back and limited my intake of peanut butter over the past year. It’s interesting to note actually that peanuts are quite susceptible to mold and can be pretty bad for us. That’s why this smoothie is my healthier take on the old fave, I use Almond butter instead!

Ingredients:
1 Frozen Banana
2 Tbsp Almond Butter
2/3 Cup Frozen Strawberries
1 Cup Almond Milk
3 Tbsp Hemp Seeds

Method:
Add everything to a blender and mix until nice and smooth! Pour into your fave glass and enjoy 😉
