Healthy Tip Tuesday – Staying Positive


So I shared a pretty real experience on IG yesterday and I stated that I probably wouldn’t post a healthy tip on the blog today but I thought it would be a good way to incorporate my post and feelings from yesterday into a great and hopefully motivational health tip post today.

I felt pretty ill yesterday, and today, so unwell I didn’t feel like being overly positive. It’s hard, when people follow you for encouragement and positivity and a boost to their day, you begin to feel like you have to be happy all the time and stay positive for others. While that is a great motivation, sometimes it’s just not realistic. You can’t expect people to never have a bad day or get sick, because it happens. I think everyone can learn not only from the positive side but from how someone deals with or accepts the negative side too. So here’s my top tips for leading a more positive life!

Talk To Friends – there’s something settling and soothing about talking to your friends about what’s got you down. If you’ve got a got network of friends who will listen and boost your spirits back up they’re an awesome place to turn!


Look Up Inspiring & Positive Quotes – I found this helped me a lot yesterday. It’s funny because even the quotes Id seen like a million times over took on a whole new meaning when I read them. Even though they’re just words they can really resonated with how your feeling and hopefully give you a nice positive boost.

Take Some Me Time – This is always my favourite way to relax, rejuvenate and get back to positive thinking. It can be something as simple as taking a nice hot relaxing bath, having a nap, reading your favourite book, taking a walk through a beautiful garden or park. Boosting your own self confidence and creating your own positivity can feel really incredible.


Try Exercise and Stretching – This is especially helpful to those who have a chronic illness but can really help to boost anyone’s mood! Taking a light jog around the block, a walk through a park, stretching and certain yoga poses can really help stretch the tension out and get you feeling more happy, free, light and positive


Those are some of my favourite ways to relax and gain a more positive mindset again. I actually used these points all yesterday and found my mood was almost instantly boosted.
