Memories | Taking Newborn Photos

It’s been over a year now since our lives changed in the best way ever and looking back on these adorable photos I couldn’t help but share them with you all today. Newborn photos were always something I’d wanted to do, I absolutely love capturing memories and those babies don’t stay little for too long! A very dear friend of ours reached out to us and offered to capture those memories for us so once Elliot was born we made our way over to her studio apartment and captured some beautiful shots. We were absolutely thrilled with the results and all the photos we received! I’d highly highly recommend booking a photoshoot with Tiara for any family type photos! We actually loved them so much we got some more family photos done this past fall.

I also wanted to share some helpful tips and suggestions before you book or head off to your newborn photoshoot:

  • Be prepared to spend a few hours (2-3) with your photographer to guarantee some good shots
  • Make sure baby is well fed just before the photoshoot, that way they’ll be sleepy and you can get those really adorable posed shots
  • Bring lots of diapers, change of clothes and blankets!
  • Don’t feel bad if baby starts to cry, its totally normal and your photographer will be prepared for it. Hence the few hours long appointment
  • Don’t forget to enjoy!!
